Final Boss
July 21, 2008
Well the past couple of weeks have been a little crazy due to work/vacation/etc and I’m just now getting back to posting things. One of the first things I realized when I got home from vacation is 1. Final Boss lost there second straight tournament and 2. They dropped Walshy to pick up Neighbor.
If you didn’t know, Final Boss is the most dominant Halo team of all time. They have completely destroyed the Halo Circuit since its been around. They have been through StK/3D/ and now Final Boss. But even though the names changed, 3 of the team mates didn’t; Ogre 1, Ogre 2, Walshy (Captain). Well they had a pre-lan before the latest tournament and realized Walshy was doing horrible. While there team went as a whole +468, Walshy went -246. So something had to change.
The Ogre’s decided it was best to let Walshy go and pick up Neighbor. Not only is Neighbor on a higher seeded team but its said that Gilbert Arenas(FB Sponsor) bribed him with 15,000 to be on the team. I’m kind of bumd to see Walshy go because FB is just not the same without him. But I’m very excited to see what Walshy will turn Chilled Reality into with such High Slayers such as Soviet and CallmeGod. I guess we will find out August 22-24 when MLG heads to Toronto, Canada. I will be blogging daily on the outcome of the tourney. Till then will just have to see what Str8/FB/cR do with all this sudden team changing.
EDIT: Nieghbor back to Str8 Rippin, Instinct Captain Mackeo to Final Boss and Instinct now without a 4th. Tune to http://www.mlgpro.com for more information.
Forrest Griffin beats Quinton “Rampage” Jackson
July 8, 2008
Wow, didn’t see this coming. Rampage has dominated nearly everyone in his path since he entered the UFC. With his cocky attitude filled gold chain, Rampage was a little over confident judging by this pre fight interview.
Rampage: ” I don’t see him(Griffin) as a serious contender.”
